A Rich History

Multi-generation, family run business with almost 100 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution of blended sugar products.


Indiana Sugars was founded in 1923 by Maurice Yonover. Maurice started a grocery store in Gary, IN, and evolved to become a sugar distributor to midwest candy companies.


In 1960 Ron Yonover joined the company and expanded the Gary, facility to provide value-added sugar processing.


John Yonover the President and COO joined the company in 1987 and expanded the enterprise by opening operations in Missouri and Illinois. John still actively oversees all activities throughout the enterprise.


In 2017 Matt Yonover joined the company and the family traditions continue.
